Rome is a bustling city, rich with culture. There are great temples dedicated to the gods, fantastic art and sculptures and amazing food! Your father's name was also Julius Caesar who was Praetor who governed the province of Asia. He died when you were 16, and you became the head of your noble household. You joined a priesthood shortly after and were nominated as the new High Priest of Jupiter. However when the Roman politician Sulla declared himself dictator, you were targeted, and stripped of your priesthood. With no way to provide for your family, you have two options. However, you befriended the pirates and were treated well as a hostage, and Rome paid the ransom. Upon arriving back in Rome, you were elected military Tribune for a new campaign! Congratulations! Your wife, Cornilia, has sadly passed away while you were gone, so you marry the granddaughter of the emperor Sulla. You then decide to go on other small adventures, one including sailing to Spain and defeating the warring rival tribes. After arriving back in Rome, you were awarded councilship by the senate and received well earned respect from fellow senators.. After your first convening of the Senate, you are approached by two of the most powerful and important people in Rome: Pompey and Crassus. They propose a business and political agreement concerning the three of you. Your ideas and legislation proposed to the Senate would be backed up by Crassus' wealth and Pompey's soldiers. With these important men by your side, your importance and respect will grow within the senate. However, be aware these men might take advantage of your position and the fact they can easily influence you. You and your army fight against the divided tribes of the Gallic people, and after 6 long, exhausting years you finally defeat them! you are now named the conqueror of Gaul. You gain many riches along with multiple trading routes for the Roman empire! However back in Rome, your political partner Crassus was killed in battle, and Pompey aligned himself with the Optimate faction. The senate removes you from your position as governor, and orders that you return to Rome to be prosecuted. If you return to Rome, you could risk getting punished for your actions you made while serving in the senate, and lose your position and power. However, if you decide to disobey the Optimate faction, you will be turning against one of the strongest powers in Rome. However, after years of proposing ideas and legislations to the senate, your initiatives were always shot down. Feeling disheartened, you have two choices. However when the trial day arrives, you are proven innocent for many of your accused crimes, and because you have powerful friends in the senate, they persuade the Roman government to still allow you to hold a position in the senate. You take many classes and study long hours, and as a result, you become a highly respected. However, this does not work in your favor. Albanus is not a charitable man and refuses to help you in any way. Word of your request spreads through the senate like wildfire, and in just a week you are being publicly shunned by the politicians of Rome and are forced to step down from your position. You have no time left to switch career paths, but you do still have family and estate wealth. You were met by Pompey's legions in battle in 48 BCE, and defeat Pompey However, he escapes. Your nemesis flees to Egypt, where he expects a large welcome, but is instead killed as he steps on the shore. You pursue Pompey. When hearing of his murder, you are enraged! You take over the Egyptian palace, and for the next six months, you co-reign with Cleopatra. Upon returning to Rome after many victories, you are granted the title Dictator Perpetuus.
